Through the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), we help people with long-term physical disabilities pay for customized equipment, like wheelchairs and hearing aids.

NEIGHBOURS WHO CARE
On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and consumers of Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario and our partner Xperience Home Health Care we would like to invite you to the media launch of our new Neighbours Who Care – a medical equipment support program launch.
The program is a collaboration between ALSO and Xperience Home Health Care. Through first hand experiences, these organizations have seen first-hand how many people in our community need basic home healthcare and medical equipment.Nearly new equipment will be cleaned and recycled and utilized in Windsor/Essex County and will help someone in need. Our organization kindly accepts monetary donations to this program as well.

Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) provides financial assistance, health care benefits and employment supports to eligible Ontario residents who:
-have a disability as defined by theOntario Disability Support Program Act, or are a member of a prescribed class that is exempt from the disability adjudication process
-are 18 years older (those under 18 can start the application process up to six months before their 18th birthday)
-are in financial need
